Speaker Series Update March 29, 22

March 29, 2022 – Jennifer Edwards, Collier Supervisor of Election – When it comes to getting people prepared to vote and having everyone going in the same direction there is none better to get the job done than the Collier County Supervisor of Election. Jennifer educated the Rotarians and guests about election laws, general & mid-term election, and how the entire voting process is done. Everyone walked away with a wealth of knowledge about elections and pledged to sign up as poll workers as well as doing everything possible to go even beyond the 90% turn out voting rate achieved by the Collier County voters during the past elections. Jennifer Edwards had plenty of handouts and stories of tough elections such as Bush v. Gore, which Florida played a significant role in deciding George Bush becoming President of the United States of America. As you can see, your vote is important now go out and vote.
